We're not a ‘pub chain’. Our passion is for those things that make country pubs special: quality and individuality. So, all our venues have their own character, their own specialities and their own high standards.

The beautiful Forest of Bowland in Lancashire is our home, and the home of our two pubs. It’s where we share in the community spirit, enjoy the finest local produce and make time for our friends. Come and join us at The Punchbowl in Churchtown or The Plough in Galgate.

We currently own and run The Plough in Galgate (Lancaster) and The Punchbowl in Churchtown near Garstang (which has recently won the Taste Lancashire ‘Highest Quality Standard’ Award!) We’re also in the process of bringing several more new exciting venues under the Bowland Village Inns umbrella.
